HT AVR (High Tension Automatic Voltage Regulator)
Upstream high-voltage stabilization to protect plant-wide infrastructure at supply entry.
Overview & Engineering Design
HT AVRs stabilize incoming power directly on the high-tension side (11kV or 33kV) of the distribution grid. They protect the entire facility's transformers, motors, and machinery from supply fluctuations from a single upstream point. Our engineering standards ensure premium material selection, including high-permeability grain-oriented (CRGO) steel laminate cores and double-insulated electrolytic copper windings, designed for low core losses and continuous operational uptime.
- Large cement, chemical, and steel rolling plants
- Campus-wide distribution in multi-transformer facilities
- Paper mills and textile industrial complexes
- Unstable grid entries in rural industrial zones
- Protects the step-down transformers from breakdown
- Minimizes overall plant power factor losses
- Eliminates the cost of individual low-tension stabilizers
- On-Load Tap Changer (OLTC) or heavy-servo regulation
- Oil-cooled, hermetically sealed structure
- IP55 weather-proof enclosure for outdoor installation
- Integrated lightning arrester and circuit breaker protections
